Franklin Gaffney holds a Bachelor of Economics, Bachelor of Laws (First Class) and a Master of Laws (Labour Law) from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Franklin is a Chevening Scholar and recipient of the prestigious Sir Ronald Wilson Medal in Law. He has worked for national and international legal firms and held very senior management positions within the Commonwealth government and native title organisations in Western Australia. He is a trained negotiator having undertaken executive education programs at Harvard University and Insead.
Franklin is a natural communicator, able to explain complex legal concepts to a given audience in a commercial and practical way. Franklin regularly appears before courts and tribunals and delivers legal presentations, lecturers and community stakeholder meetings in Australia and Canada.
